Spent Easter at a beautiful lodge surrounded by stunning scenery and wildlife. The location was perfect, with breathtaking views of the water. The wetland safari was a highlight, getting up close and personal with hippos and watching fish eagles in action. The knowledgeable guide made the experience even more enjoyable.

There were a few downsides. The cancellation of the beach trip due to bad weather was understandable, but there was no alternative plan offered.

We liked our time here. A convenient base for exploring Makakatana. It is adjacent to the airport...

Spent my xmas at a game lodge in the wetlands. Loved spotting animals during the game drives and boat tour. Interesting to learn about the flora and fauna of the area. the guide was friendly and knew his stuff. Loved the campfire at dinner and the appetizers were a nice touch. the outdoor shower was a unique experience. Room overlooked the lake and the view was breathtaking. Location had a calm, peaceful vibe, perfect for disconnecting from the world.

The road to get there was a bit bumpy and dusty. the lunch on the beach was not impressive, and the beach was a bit of a disappointment.
